This cast iron terrine is perfect for making appetizers, roulades, pâtés, and of course terrines. The cast iron is forged in a single-use mould and all imperfections are meticulously trimmed to deliver even thickness, as a result, the terrine absorbs heat quickly, distributes it evenly and gently, and retains the heat long after removal from the heat source. The non-stick black matte enamel interior is highly durable, resistant to chipping, won't rust or discolour, and does not require seasoning. Cast iron handles allow for easy handling; high-heat tolerance means handles will get hot - use caution and mitts or potholders while cooking. This attractive terrine can go from the oven to the table for a beautiful presentation. At the table the tight-fitting lid helps retain moisture and heat, so contents stay warm, but don't dry out.Oven safe to 930°F/500C.
